(1) Subject to the provisions of the Act, the principal object of the society shall be to promote the interests of all its members to attain their social and economic betterment through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with the cooperative principles by enriching financial & social status of fodder producers, milk producers by supplying good and standard quality seeds, inputs and supporting with latest dairy technologies to farmers, milk producers, dairy farms in rural & semi urban areas.
(2) In furtherance of the above objectives, the Society may undertake any or all of the following activities, but not limited to, namely:
• To promote overall economic development of members through self-help and mutual aid, principles of voluntary formation, autonomous functioning, democratic member control, and professional management, members economic participation of society.
• To involve in the production of seed & fodder along with thedevelopment of fodder banks for enhanced milk productivity, establish custom hiring centers for post-harvest & dairy mechanization.
• To produce & supply high quality fodder, other crop seeds& fodder production technologies to farmers at affordable prices.
• To connect with government agencies & research institutes for technical support and latest Dairy, seed technology varieties supported in domestic, global markets.
• To act as a nodal agency to mitigate the fodder deficit in multiple states by adopting advanced technologies.
• To conduct training programmes on fodder production & conservation technologies to fodder officers, field staff from milk unions.
• To involve in the marketing & branding (Commercialization) of Ready to Feed Fodders.
• To establish genetic improvement & breeding centres and thus assist co-farmers in setting-up dairy farms& animal/genetic trading.
• To conduct trainings on breed development& production of quality milk to dairy farmers.
• To establish “Fodder Bank” for fodder production & storage.
• To establish custom hiring centres for post-harvest & dairy mechanization and promote the sales & service centres within farmer’s reach points.
• To develop agri infrastructure, cold storages & processing units for dairy, fruits & vegetables processing.
• To promote overall economic interest by effectively organizing scheme to procure and process milk and manufacture milk products by using modern techniques, process and preserve them in saleable condition.
• Purchase machinery, equipment, Tools, implements, materials, furniture and dead stock, laboratory, Chemicals etc. necessary for processing of seeds, dairy.
• Acquire purchase, contract or hire, godowns, buildings, lands, sheds packing places, Cold Stores etc. for carrying out milk processing as also other activities of Society.
• Manufactures or get manufactures (a) milk powder, fresh cream, Ghee, Curds, Butter, Cheese, Khoa, Basundi, Shrikhand, Ice-Cream, Flavoured milk etc. and (b) other allied milk products from milk collected by society.
• Trading of quality breed cattle such as Buffaloes, cowsfor members, etc.
• Promote co-operative education and arrange training programs for staff.
• To construct the godowns, cold storage, warehouse and processing unit or hire the godowns for agricultural inputs and produce for the welfare of members.
• Enter into necessary agreements from time to time for achieving the above objectives.
• Make available latest techniques from above and utilize it for economic betterment of members.
• To manufacture, procure / purchase and supply / sale of all sorts of agriculture fertilizers, seeds, and all types of agricultural equipment’s, animal feed, insecticides and pesticides.
• To raise funds required for the business of the society.
• To open branches in its area operation of Society with the prior permission from Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
• Promote saving habits amongst its members.
